The Ballyboden St Enda’s community are saddened to learn of the recent passing of Con Daly. A native of Skibbereen, Co Cork, Con passed away yesterday.
One of the great members of Ballyboden, Con was very involved in the club in the early years and made a huge contribution to the activities of the Club helping make it into the great club it is today. A very popular man, Con was known for his big heart and personality.
The Club extends its deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to his son Conor, daughter Irene and his 6 grandchildren. His family are still involved in the club. Indeed Con would have been seen bringing his Granddaughter Emma, who is now a Senior Ladies footballer, to training and matches at times.
