The club community is saddened to hear of the sudden death of Ray McKenna.
Ray has been a member of Ballyboden St. Enda’s for many years. He had a real love of hurling and was still playing the game he loved a short time ago. He was a mentor / coach to many underage teams over the years and he was also a mentor of our Senior B hurlers a few year’s ago. Ray will be sadly missed on the sidelines where he was ever present. He was always willing to assist on match days. Ray has left an indelible mark on hurling people, young and old and he will be always be remembered.
We send our deepest condolences to his wife Trish, his daughter Róisín, his son Eoin and to all the McKenna family..
