During 2023 we were delighted to welcome UPMC, who acquired our main sponsor Sports Surgery Clinic. UPMC is a worldwide healthcare provider, headquartered in Pittsburgh, with hospitals in Kilkenny, Kildare and Waterford and other clinics throughout Ireland.
UPMC already has a very strong association with the GAA, as their official healthcare sponsor, in addition to its sponsorship of the GPA, Waterford GAA, Wexford, Meath, Laois and Kildare GAA and the title sponsor of Nowlan Park.

Ballyboden St Endas
Ballyboden St Endas is a vibrant GAA club located across the communities of Ballyboden, Firhouse, Knocklyon and Rathfarnham.
With a rich history spanning 54 years, we have become a cornerstone of the local community, providing opportunities for people of all ages to participate in Gaelic football, hurling, camogie, and handball.
The club started off with 36 members and today has over 3,000 members and fields 223 teams from under 9 to Senior across Ladies Football, Camogie, Hurling and men’s Football, and more recently handball. We have been very privileged to have many high-profile names that have come through the ranks. From Paul McGinley, Padraig Harrington, Girvan Dempsey, Eric Millar to the legendary Jim Stynes. We have also twinned with Berlin GAA in 2017 which has resulted in a great relationship both on and off the field.
More than just a GAA cub
We have many activities that serve the community across all ages. The social side of BBSE includes Drama, Boden Drama Group, Bingo, Pool and much more. There are 100’s of volunteers in the Ballyboden St Enda’s and the club wouldn’t be as successful as it is today without their help.
Roll of honour
BBSE success on the pitch include three all Ireland Club titles – in 2005 & 2007 our Senior Ladies triumphed while our Senior Footballers celebrated all Ireland glory in 2016. It’s not all about success in Ballyboden St Endas, the foundation of players’ careers, friendships and love for sport starts in the Boden Og and Spraoi and Summer Camps. Set up in 1999 with just under 1,000 children, the BBSE summer camp is one of the biggest and most enjoyable summer camps across the country with over 1,000 young players attending each year
