The Annual Declan Maguire Tournament takes place on St. Stephen’s Day at 11.30 am in Páirc Uí Mhurchú. This is the 19th Anniversary of the Tournament. Over the years it has become a real Boden tradition and brings together present and former “greats” to remember Declan and to also remember other club members at this special time of the year.
There will be two games. The opening game allows our “more mature” players (Over 35s) to see if they still have it against a selection of our Junior Hurlers. Players are asked to meet for this game at 10.15am. The second game is for those who consider themselves more than Junior Hurlers – it is up to the individual to decide if they meet the requirement to play at that elite level!!
