What a season the U12A footballers are having in 2007. This team has been competing in the South Dublin U12A Cup competition since February. Their track record of 9 wins and 1 draw resulted in them winning their round robin group. Next was a semi final meeting with Lucan Sarsfields on Wed 30th May. This match, which must rate as one of our best this year, resulted in another win for the Boden boys.
And so they were through to the final on Sat 9th June against Kilmacud Crokes. On a very hot day , this encounter proved to be a bridge too far for the boys, and they finished up their cup campaign with runners up medals. Well done to all the boys for a great cup run. It’s on to the league campaign now with lots more top notch football to come from this talented team.
