Following the retirement of the Club’s General Manager, Noel Sheridan, after 17 years in the role, the Club is seeking to appoint a General Manager on a fixed-term contract for three-years on a 25 hours per week basis. The role will report to the Club Chairman and be responsible for the efficient day to day running of the Club, the development and implementation of all operating plans, management of staff, and provision of input to the Executive for the development of strategic plans.

There is a requirement for flexibility as the role holder will need to be in attendance at the Club at different times during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on demand.

Initial application screening, selection for first interviews and conducting of first interviews will be conducted by an external HR professional who will provide a shortlist of not more than four candidates to be interviewed by the Club Executive. The use of an external HR resource recognises the importance of the appointment and ensures objectivity in the assessment of applications. It is intended that the process will be completed by December 2020 and that the new General Manager will take up his / her appointment in January 2021.  If you would like further detail or would like to apply for the role, you can do both at https://www.jobs.ie/ApplyForJob.aspx?Id=1914079

Applications, including CV and covering letter should be received before 24th of November.
