Who needs to be vetted?
In the GAA any person who carries out a role of responsibility such as coaching, managing or training underage teams or indeed adult teams that contain any player under 18 yrs. of age must be vetted. This is now a statutory obligation. It also applies to organising underage activities or refereeing underage games. Thereafter Baile Buadáin Naomh Éanna shall decide if other roles merit a person being vetted.
Baile Buadáin Naomh Éanna requires all that all relevant mentors, coaches and referees apply for Garda vetting online (see link below). Each applicant will need to scan and attach one piece of photographic identification and at least one document confirming your current address.
