Ladies  Football  7 A Side Tournament

We welcome the 2nd year of our Ladies Football 7 aside tournament this Saturday the  27th of September in Cherryfield , opposite the club house  .    Following the success of last year’s event  we hope that this  years tournament  will be even better.   A dedicated committee led by Donagh O’Farrell and Dave McMyler have been working hard over the past number of weeks  to ensure that this event  runs smoothly and that players and supporters  have a great day.  One of the highlights of the days activities  is the Legends game  featuring  players from  the  Clubs  first  All Ireland  winning team in  2004.  As this is the tenth anniversary  of that fantastic  achievement it will be great to welcome back these Boden  heroine’s  and introduce them to all the young juvenile players on the day.    This game is scheduled to throw in at 3.30 p.m.   Dave Mellon has scrubbed down his Barbecues and is donning his Chef hat once again to make sure nobody goes hungry.  Tea and scones will be served  by Jackie and her friendly team of assistance until 3.p.m.  The day’s events kicks off at 10.30 with a total of 28 teams registered  to compete  over the course of the day.   With a bit of lady luck on our side we hope that the good weather will last until the week end and make it a day to remember.   Your support will be greatly appreciated.
