Minor A Hurling Match Report, Aug 4th, 2015

Ballyboden Minor As continued their winning streak during the week with a fine win over Cuala with a scoreline of 3-19 to 2-11. The home side never looked in any real danger with a half-time lead of 1-11 to 0-4 thanks to some fine scores by Conor Kennedy. However, by mid way through the second half, Cuala to their credit had brought the margin back to six points. Ballyboden finished strongly with a well taken goal by Michael Boland which put the game out of sight.

Best for Ballyboden were Conor o’Donoghue in goals, who made one superb save, Luke Corcoran and Rob Leddy in defence, the midfield partnering of Sean McDonnell and Cillian Byrne, and the greatest threat up front coming from the full forward line of Conor Kennedy, Michael Boland and Ciaran Ryan.
