Minor A hurlers played a top of the table clash with local rivals Crokes last Sunday
Early exchanges were even with 3 pts a piece after 10 mins , but this was where the contest was to end . Boden stepped up another gear to totally dominate the remainder of the 1st half with Pearce Christie and John McGuire winning everything in the middle section. Forwards Rhys Mc Donnell , Darragh Kenny and most notably Cian Hasset chased and harried and frustrated Crokes defenders into making mistakes which were easily converted by Fergal and Adam. Halftime score 11 pts to 4 to Boden
Second half was more of the same with Boden backs winning every ball, but also delivering right ball into the forwards. Brick Wall scoring a huge point from wing back was one of the highlights. Subs were brought in in the 40 th minute and slotted in seamlessly, Crokes were to get in for a late goal to put a bit of gloss on the final result of 21 pts to 1:7
