The Ballyboden Senior Camogie team continued their winning ways with a hard-fought win over St Oliver Plunketts on Tuesday evening.
Having scored two points, Boden conceded a goal early in the half. Plunketts then added two more points to Boden’s one, and Plunketts deservedly led at half time by 1-02 to 0-3.
Plunketts continued in the same vein early in the second half and soon extended their lead to 5 points. The Boden players then grabbed this game by the scruff of the neck and manufactured a goal followed by 2 more points to level matters. Another point by Boden saw them take the lead for the first time since early in the first half. Boden had the momentum now and were winning every battle at this stage. They finished off with two more goals and a couple of points to run out winners on a final score of 1-08 to 3-10
Well done to the players for a strong come back and grinding out this result against an impressive St Oliver Plunketts team.
