The first match of the 2021 season got off to a slow start for the Boden girls with a number of early attacks from the Kilmacud side. The 1st water break gave Boden the chance to regroup and settle more comfortably into their stride. Strong defending throughout the game meant no goals conceded by Ballyboden. There was great pace in the forward line, particularly after the halftime break with Boden knocking in 7 goals in total throughout the game. Boden finished the game strongly with a good performance from the whole team.
All in all, a good start with plenty to work on. It’s back to training on Monday for Stephen Campbell and his management team as they build on this performance.
