U9 Footballers begin their football carreers

Finally the wait was over for 85 Ballyboden boys last Saturday afternoon when they got their chance to put all the skills learnt in the Academy into competitive action in their 1st ever games. Three teams travelled to Marley Park tp play Ballinteer St John in Marlay Park and the remaining six teams played at home in Sancta Maria welcoming and playing against Kilmacud Crokes and Ballinteer. All teams were happy and full of smiles at the end of the matches after putting in a fanastic effort. Well done boys! It’s wonderful to see so many happy little faces donning the Boden jersey. The future is bright!
