Ballyboden’s G4MO Ladies made history for the club on October 6th by participating in their first National Blitz in Naomh Mearnog. With 102 teams and over 2,000 people showcasing their skills, there were some great scores and even better craic. The blitz day is completely recreational and all players treated the blitz in a fun and fair play manner with BBSE playing teams from Laois, Westmeath and Leitrim. Although the scores were not recorded, the matches themselves were very competitive and the Boden G4MO team did the club proud in their first ever All Ireland blitz.
The Boden G4MO team started out in June 2018 with 35 players and has grown continuously over the last 4 months to over 70 members and we look forward to going from strength to strength in the coming years.
Ballyboden’s G4MO winter training continues in the St. Colmcille’s Secondary school hall every Tuesday
from 20.30 – 21.30 New players are always welcome.
