Under the leadership of Paul Waters the official launching of Goalkeeping Academy took place on Monday 26th for Gaelic Football and LGFA Youth Goalies. Paul Waters gave a presentation themed “Roll of a Goalkeeper” to over 40 goalkeepers plus Coaches on the night.
The Academy will be a learning experience for both the players and coaches and will initially focus on the u14 – u18 age bracket.
There will be one workshop per month beginning on the following dates:
- Monday 11th March – Ladies u14 – u16 – 7:30- 8:30
- Wednesday 13th March – Boys u14 – u16 7:30- 8:30
- Wednesday 13th March – Minor Boys / Girls 8:30-9:30
