The club extends its deepest sympathy to the parents and brothers of Andrew Cranley who has passed away.  Andrew was a member of the U16 hurling team who won the Kilmacud Crokes All-Ireland U16 Sevens title (Eamonn O’Sullivan, Gerry O’Sullivan) in 1995.  He scored 0-11 in the three-game competition.  The following year he was part of the Minor Hurling squad ((Matt Dempsey, Declan Fitzpatrick, Eamonn O’Sullivan, Gerry O’Sullivan) that won the championship.  He returned to his original club St. Marks shortly after that season.  Andrew was a most pleasant young man and a fine hurler.  Sadly this is the second member of the U16 All-Ireland squad to pass away.  Declan Maguire was also a member of the team.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a nanamacha.
