Na Tráchtálaithe 1-17      BBNÉ  0-11

Agus díreach an cluiche tosaithe, thosaigh an bháisteach. Drochmhaidin agus drochthoradh.

Bhí an fhoireann idirmheánach ag súil leis an gcluiche seo le fada, ach faraor bhí an taispeántas sa chluiche seo cosúil leis an aimsir – go dona.

Thosaigh na Tráchtálaithe go láidir agus dhá chúilín faighte acu before Chris Lambert opened the account for Boden with a well-taken point, following a good pass from Wiggy. Boden managed to keep in touch in the first half but an over-reliance on frees from James Roche and Josh Corcoran was ominous. An scór ag leathama ná: Na Tráchtálaithe 0-10; BBNÉ 0-7.

Agus deich nóiméad imithe sa dara leath, Boden were working hard to keep in touch and brought the score back to two points, with a point from Wiggy, and a brace from play from James Roche. However, a well taken goal from Commercials with ten minutes to go put daylight between the teams and a strong finish saw Commercials run out deserving winners.

For Boden, this was a disappointment overall, as Commercials managed to shackle our hard-working forwards and limit scores from play. Good performances from Mo Ormsby, Ruairí Kirwan, Karl Weldon and the impressive Josh Corcoran managed to keep the opposition at bay for forty minutes. However, some lively displays by Drewett, Ó Dulaing and Keogh kept the scoreboard ticking over for the opposition.

Ciaran Cashman got on a lot of ball at midfield, but, apart from James Roche, who finished with 8 points (4F), the Boden forwards did not see their hard efforts translate into scores. Andy Hand brought a lot of energy on his introduction, and it was great to see him back after a hamstring lay off. An chéad chluiche eile ar an 19 Lúnasa as baile i gcoinne Lucan Sarsfields.

Laoch na hImeartha: James Roche

Ár mbuíochas leis na maoirchúil Shane Ormsby agus Ben Kelly agus an maor líne Dave Conway. Susan Creed was busy as she went from duty with the Inters straight into duty with the Juniors B’s who gave her something more to shout about with a fine win over Castleknock.
