We were delighted to announce that our club was selected for the Gaelic4Teens Coach Education Programme facilitated by the LGFA. This is a big win for us as we are one of only two Dublin clubs selected (the other one being St Sylvesters of Malahide).

The programme is aimed at increasing the retention rate of teenage girls aged between 13-17 years of age which is typically when we see an increased level of dropout.

It is a club based coach education initiative incorporating sample fun coaching sessions, coach education webinars, club observation visits and a Gaelic4Teens Festival day.

37 coaches from the club have signed up and the induction webinar took place on Monday 15th January. Next up on Monday 29th January is Webinar 1, Coaching Behaviour and Approach. Best of luck to everyone and enjoy.
