Monday walking continues at 6.30 for all “normal Monday’s

March 3rd – Glassamucky (Moderate)

March 10th- Mullaghcleevaun  (Difficult)
2nd Option- Kilmashogue (Easy to Moderate)

March 19th Bank Holiday Monday –  Kippure and lough Brea ( Moderate)
Meet Ballyboden Carpark 4PM.

March 24th- Sorrel Hill (Moderate)

March 31st- Glendalough (Easy to Moderate)
2nd Option- Glendalough/Derrybawn (Moderate/Long)

April 2 Evening walking starts on Monday, April 2nd with Hellfire from Cruagh graveyard.

April 9th- Glencullen Valley Circuit (finish at J Fox’s) 3 hours Moderate new route. Meet at 4pm

April 14th – Dodder Walk (Easy)

Sat, 14th April-Option to change to St. Kevins Way, Hollywood and including Slievecorragh, 3 hours and about as high as “Hellfire”.

APRIL 21ST TO 22ND ‘A TREK WITH THE GALTEE MOUNTAIN BOY’.

   Option for overnight and Day 2 walk on the agenda. Further details to follow.

Walking Guidelines and helpful Hints   

Meeting place:                Ballyboden St Endas Car-Park

Membership:                   At least associate (social) membership is required.  Available since 1 Jan 2012

Time:                              9am

Transport:                        Car Pool

Clothing:                         Walking Boots, Rain Gear, Hat and Gloves. It is best to layer clothing to              accommodate changes of temperature. Trekking Pole (optional). A change of clothes and footwear is advisable (cars don’t like mucky gear and boots)

Food:                                    Water, flask of tea/coffee,   Snack, Fruit.
