This was the 1st of the grading matches for the boys. Our lads were slow to start and Na Fianna got some good scores.
Halfway into the 1st half, Boden came into the game and with some good passing and team work started to pick up some good scores and at the break were in the lead.
The second half started much the same as the first half and saw the Mobhi Road lads closing the lead to a 3 points margin. With 15 minutes left, Ballyboden came back and with good team play they were able to get some vital scores and saw the game out with a comfortable win in the end.
The boys did themselves credit and their 2 new players, Sean Finn & Adam MC Donnell had a great match. Overall it was a great team effort as the season begins with outstanding performances from Conor Donnelly, Zach Walsh, Matthew Lynch & Captain Luke Nicholson.
