I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that donated club jerseys, academy kits, footballs, hurls, money etc.The experience I had was unbelievable. The children in Kenya are the happiest, most grateful children that I’ve ever come across. Seeing first hand where they live and the conditions they live in. The walk through the slums, with open sewage about and children playing around it would break your heart. Their lives are so different to ours. We visited primary and secondary schools. The children were so delighted to wear the Ballyboden jerseys. They were so happy, obedient and very eager to learn. We did lots of different activities such as music, arts & crafts and sports and they really enjoyed playing hurling and football !! The interaction was fantastic !
