Huge Weekend for Adult Hurling

We have two mouth-watering Semi-finals this weekend and it would be fantastic if the club could get behind both teams and give them every chance to reach a final in two weeks time.

First up is our Inters who play St Sylvester’s at 4.30pm in Broomfield Malahide and then onto Parnell Park where our Seniors take on our southside neighbours (current Champions) Kilmacud Crokes at 7.30pm

Our Inters are having an incredible year and the management team led by Des O Sullivan have put together a very united bunch of players who play a beautiful brand of hurling. This same team only won a Junior A championship last year but since then have raised the bar considerably. Hats off to the coaching team and we can only wish them the very best on Saturday afternoon.

From Malahide to Parnell Park for, no doubt, a titanic battle with Crokes in the Senior semi-final. Many will remember the 2018 season where neither side could be separated in the drawn fixture and Boden marginally won the replay. Since then, results have ebbed and flowed between both and games are always very difficult to predict.  Dave Curtin and his management team have assembled a panel with a sprinkling of youth and experience and has exhausted every avenue to maximize their potential. This for sure will be an epic encounter and one not to be missed.

We are fortunate to have such dedicated clubmen involved with both teams. Both players and management have made huge sacrifices throughout the year and hopefully we can show our appreciation by turning up in our droves on Saturday evening. Be part of the excitement and share with family and friends an occasion to remember. The Boden machine is revved up and ready to do battle.

Tickets for the Senior A game can be purchased on line on the Dublin GAA website. Juveniles (Under 16s) are Free. Please spread the news.

There is No Entry Fee to the Intermediate game. Malahide is just up the road from Parnell Park and would be an ideal “starter” to the Senior game. So hopefully a huge Boden crowd can get there on Saturday afternoon before making the short journey to Parnell Park. Sandwiches and a flask of tea advised!!
