Senior A Camogie Fall in the Penultimate League Cup Match

St. Vincents 2-17;  Ballyboden St.Endas 0-11

The Ballyboden Senior A Camogie team succumbed to a slick St. Vincents team last Tuesday 3rd May in this top of the league table clash.

Having scored early, Boden suffered a setback by conceding a goal after five minutes of the first half. The team were competing well in the early stages but St. Vincents began to get a grip on the game and struck for a second goal as well as a number of points. A couple of points from play and placed balls just about kept Boden in the match on a half time score of 2-9 to 0-6.

St. Vincents didn’t let up in the second half and continued to make the scoreboard tick over with well taken points. Despite their best efforts, there was no comeback from Boden and St.Vincents ran out convincing winners on a final scoreline of 2-17 to 0-11.
