After the disappointing exits from Hurling A and B Championships the weekend before, our U15 Hurlers faired a lot better in their respective Shield games.
Our A’s faced St Judes A in Cherryfield last Sunday morning 15/9/19 and had a comfortable 2:17 to 0:07 win.
This brings the lads through to the U15 A Shield Final on 3rd November where Faughs A provide the opposition. The venue and time are still to be advised.
Our B’s were up next after the A’s again in Cherryfield at 12 noon where they saw off Erin’s Isle 4:12 to 2:08.
The boys will face Thomas Davis on Sunday morning, 29th September, in the U15 B Shield Semi Final, venue TBC.
Well done to the lads showing great character and determination in bouncing back after their disappointing opening stages of Championship.
