After two years in the Academy and six months of intense training, the Under 9 Girls were well prepared for their first ever Go Games. On a bright and sunny spring Sunday morning, six teams lined out to play football against 3 teams from Lucan Sarsfields (home) and 3 teams from Ballinteer St John’s. All the girls put in a fantastic effort in front of a large group of enthusiastic supporters.
The girls did themselves, their parents, coaches and club proud. Most of all, they had great fun and all look forward to their next Go Games after the Easter break.
