As we prepare to commence the new Academy year, we must acknowledge the end of the tenure of one of our long standing Academy Coordinators, Mary Hyland, who hung up the clipboard at the end of June this year!! For the last 15 years Mary has been an ever presence in the Academy on a Saturday morning, most especially in St Enda’s Park, the Hermitage. She has been the welcoming face for hundreds of young girls & boys coming into the club for the first time, and has gone over and beyond in ensuring they were looked after to the highest standard. She will be irreplaceable, but we would like to wish her all the best in the future, and thank her for everything she has given to the Academy and to Ballyboden St Enda’s down through the years!!
