Our G4M&O team had a fantastic afternoon with hosts Naomh Olaf in Sandyford at their G4MO Blitz last Saturday.  One of 6 teams invited to the event, our ladies played three matches against their counterparts from Ranelagh Gaels, Geraldine P Morans and St Annes Bohernabreena. There was some fabulous fun and banter with the other teams and the afternoon finished up in the Clubhouse with pizza for all. There was great support on the sidelines with some of the womens’ family members cheering on the Ballyboden gals. In a reversal of roles, our ladies were all delighted with themselves to be on the right side of the pitch on this occasion as most have been on the side lines supporting their partners and children for their games many, many times in the past. The ladies were now able to do it for themselves! The improved skill level of the team was evident and the ladies are very grateful to their fantastic coaches Ian and Ciaran who came on board at the beginning of this year. The team would like to take this opportunity thank the lads for all their hard work and dedication.

Our G4M&O train every Tuesday evening at 8.30pm on Sancta Maria All Weather. New members are always welcome. No experience is necessary. It’s a great way to play with a team and a fun way to get fit.
