Camogie U15 Shield Final
The shield final was won by the hardest working team in the club. They have shipped heavy defeats and have lost many times by narrow margins. On Sunday they got the reward for all their training and participation. Two evenly matched teams contested a closely fought match with Ballyboden St.Endas coming out on top. Ballyboden led from the fifth minute and never relinquished the lead. At half time the lead was  two points having played into a very strong breeze. We turned for the second half and the girls emptied the tank in their efforts to win. Thankfully when the final whistle blew we were still two points to the good, final score 3-2 to 2-3.  Every single girl should feel hugely proud of this success . Well done to mentors Shelley Regan, Ultan Heneghan, Natalie McCarthy, Geraldine Molloy & Tony McKeown

Camogie U14 Shield Final
The U14B’s played Na Fianna in their Shield Final on Saturday at Thomas Davis grounds on Kiltipper Road. 2013 has been a memorable year for these girls, who will also be crowned League Champions. A fantastic performance on Saturday meant that the result was never in doubt, the Boden girls running out winners by 8-4 to 0-0.
Well done to mentors Alyn Deane, Bernie Kinsella & Gordon Chivers.

Camogie U13 Shield Final
Ballyboden St Endas U13 4-7 Whitehall Colmcilles 2-0
The U13 camogie team put in a great performance to beat Whitehall Colmcilles in their Shield final.
After narrowly missing out on a Championship semi final place, the girls were determined to win.
Whitehall Colmcilles proved to be tough competition on the day.
The first half was very tense with Ballyboden leading by 3pts at half time (1-3 v 1-0).
In the second half the Ballyboden girls kept their focus on good passing and drove on to win the game (4-7 v 2-0). Well done to all players on a fantastic game.
The scorers on the day were Erica Hamm 1-0, Katie O’ Reilly 1-0 & Aisling Gargan with a terrific tally of 2-7.

A great improvement by  so many girls is terrific to see, well done to mentors Jean Gargan, Sorcha Farrelly & Grace Maher.

Hard luck to the U16B’s who played very well but went down to Crumlin(who top the league Division above our girls) in the U16B Shield Final.
