The 2025 Annual Golf Classic was held on Friday the 23rd of May in Edmondstown Golf Club.

Unfortunately, we didn’t have the same good weather conditions as previous years, but it did not deter our 43 teams who competed from early morning to dusk.

As usual, our hosts in Edmondstown Golf Club gave us a warm welcome and presented us with a Golf Course in pristine condition.

With a slight tweak (3 drives to count) from last year’s Champagne Scramble format, the Cruinn Diagnostics Team 2 overcame all challengers with a winning score of 100 points, with just three points separating the first seven teams:

The committee would like to thank all of those who contributed to making the day such a great success, particularly to Susan McManus, Ned Slattery, Mick Farrell and John Small, who assisted greatly in the preparations.

A special mention to Orla Mc Cabe, Miriam Doyle, Finbarr Dolan and Cathal Regan who carried out the reception and starter duties diligently and cheerfully all day.

Thanks also to Captain Michael Maher, John O’Sullivan, the management and staff of Edmondstown Golf Club and to the Catering Team for looking after us so well with a fantastic meal, which was enjoyed by all. And thanks to Shane Guest and Froneri Ice Cream for the treats!

Most of all we would like to thank the participating teams, Sean Moran of TJ O’Mahony and to our many kind sponsors for their continued support.

Please put Friday the 22nd of May in your diary for next years’ event.

Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

Liam Deane & Jack Nolan.
