The death has occurred of Jimmy Prendergast, a great club supporter and father of club footballer, Seán. Jimmy is particularly fondly remembered for his umpiring at the All-Ireland féile in Dougas, Co. Cork where his impartial decision-making drew the temporary ire of the home supporters.
