The annual Championship and Plate competitions have now reached their respective finals. The Championship Final sees Ciaran (Mousey) Smith against Hugh Cummins. This match will be held in the Lounge area of the club on Thursday 24th Feb commencing at 10.00 pm to facilitate any members that want to watch the soccer on TV and this start time ensures all matches on TV will have completed. The final will be best of 11 frames. This event, when held outside of the Pool Room always draws a great crowd and we hope all those interested will attend and support their favourite.
The Plate final is Eoin O’Reilly versus Donal Moody. This match is best of 9 frames and will be held in the Pool Room on Tuesday 22nd at 10.00 pm, again to allow members and supporters to view the sport on TV beforehand.
