Feile Fever!!
This weekend is camogie Feile weekend, with our team being hosted by St Oliver Plunketts. They have enjoyed their preparation, and last week Simon Lambert assisted by taking a training session. Their opening game on Saturday morning at 10.30am is against St Patricks, followed by Lucan Sarsfields at 11.50am and finally meet St Olafs at 1.10pm. Best of luck to mentors Jean Gargan, Sorcha Farrelly, Grace Maher and the girls, have a terrific weekend!

Tuesday 15th Ballyboden St Endas Senior A 0-7 v Na Fianna 0-10
As was expected, this was a hard fought game from start to finish. The Boden side showed a number of changes from the last outing for a variety of reasons, with each of the players coming into the side doing themselves justice on the night. The first half was without goal-scoring opportunites for either side, Na Fianna edging it by 0-5 to 0-4. An early point in the second half got the home team on level terms, but unfortunately some missed opportunities cost them, and Na Fianna ran out winners by 0-10 to 0-7. Well done to Laura Nagle who performed well on her Senior A debut.

Thursday 17th  Ballyboden St Endas Senior C 3-3  V Naomh Brid 2-6
One of the more challenging encounters expected this season brought together the team as a unit from goalie to forwards to give a result worthy of the effort. With some outstanding attacking play backed up by a stead fast defense Boden was a goal ahead at half time. The second half was no disappointment with the exception that the efforts could reap but a draw which was a fair result and deserving of both teams

Thursday 17th Ballyboden St Endas Senior B 4-12 v Kilmacud Crokes 3-6
A very cohesive performance from all 17 girls, with some sublime scores and determined defending.
The final score does not reflect how close this game was, although we held the lead for entire game,
Crokes managed to get within two points in the latter stage of game but, with poor shot selection( on their part)
& resolute defending (from us) the goals they were going for did not come. And , our girls managed to dig deep
and finish off the game strongly adding two goals and two points in the closing five minutes.

Wednesday 18th Ballyboden St Endas U16A 3-11 v Good Counsel 2-1
After a comfortable victory over Ballinteer on Saturday, the mentors were hoping to continue with their progress against Good Counsel at Sancta Maria on Wednesday evening. Playing with the breeze in the first half the home side were dominant, Laura Nagle, Eve O’Donoghue & Eimear Butler were very prominent. Counsel scored 2 late goals to trail 2-5 to 2-0 at half time, and would have expected to push on with a strong breeze in the second half.
The Boden girls responded well at the beginning of the second half, with some fine scores from Aine O’ Brien. Hannah Hyland & Sarah Mulvey dominated in the full-back line, keeping Counsel to only 1 point in the second period. Sarah Lambert pushed the home side forward at every opportunity, and they ran out winners by 3-11 to 2-1. There was only 6 of our U16 girls involved this evening, the remainder being U15 and this panel has potential to continue to grow with the correct application.
