Senior 1 Championship Ballyboden St Endas Senior A 2-13  Na Fianna 0-7

After two straightforward victories over N Mearnog & Na Fianna, a stern test was expected against Na Fianna on Sunday morning.  Boden started well and did’nt give the visitors a chance to settle. We were on top in most positions, and got our reward with some well taken points accompanied by 2 fine goals by Denise McGrath, leaving the score 2-8 to 0-2 at half time.

The level of intensity dropped in the second half, with the result never in doubt.  This Sunday Lucan Sarsfields come to town for what should be a cracker of a semi-final, a large support will be crucial if we are to continue the Drive-for-5.
