The Hurling Section welcomed Dermot Healy to his first official visit to the club since his new appointment. A broad cross section of mentors, officials and players had a lively and information discussion on matters of concern to those active in the promotion of hurling in Dublin.
The topics covered included – the type of training sessions currently undertaken; club/school links; fixtures; refereeing; competitions; dual players; intercounty issues.
Dermot indicated that on completion of this phase of his work, a report will be prepared for action which will be presented to the County Board.
Club Vice Chairman, Noel Sheridan assured Dermot of the club”s full and active support for his endeavours.
