Enda Kinsella Steps Down as Senior A Hurling Bainisteoir
It is with regret that I announce that Enda Kinsella has stepped down from his position as Senior A Hurling Manager.
When Enda was approached at this time last year to take on the role, he stepped up without hesitation and gave the team his all from the get-go. While we were all disappointed with the quarter final loss against Na Fianna (Dublin Champions for two years running now), we should not forget Enda’s contribution to the team in a period of transition and development which saw eight players making a championship debut in 2024.
Enda is a man of enormous integrity and with a deep pride in the Ballyboden St. Enda’s jersey. He is not a man to take on a responsibility without the belief he can give it a hundred percent. Work commitments now prevent Enda from staying on in the role and building on the excellent platform he assisted in putting in place. We understand and accept his decision.
On behalf of the players and the committee, I wish to thank him for his outstanding contribution throughout 2024 and I wish him continued success in his professional life.
The Hurling Committee will now begin the process of appointing a new manager.
