Adult Football

It was a disappointing night for our Senior D and E Ladies football teams last Wednesday evening. Our Senior E’s (pictured above) started well in their Junior I Championship Semi Final v Fingallians in Cherryfield however the Northside visitors were the stronger team in the second half and secured their place in the Championship final. Mixed fortunes for our U16 girls as Championship threw in on Sunday.

Our A’s (pictured above) welcomed Foxrock Cabinteely to Cherryfield in their Division 1 opener. A goal in the dying minutes saw the Foxrock crew win by 2 points. BBSE 2:06  Fox Cab 3:05 Better fortunes for our B’s in Division 6 in Clonshaugh where the girls excelled and saw off their hosts with a scoreline of BBSE 8:12  Craobh Chiaran 4:06

Championship also commenced for our Minor Ladies on Monday evening with all 4 teams playing at home (our Minor E’s had a bye). Our Minor A ladies saw off the challenge from Clontarf in Division 1 on Pairc Uí Mhúrchú with an impressive final score of BBSE 4:13  Clontarf 1:09. Many thanks to Liam Cunningham for the photos.
