Our newest flag, celebrating Ballyboden’s Ladies Football and Camogie players, was raised outside the club for the very first time last weekend by dual U11 football and camogie player Mia O’Connell.

The flag was designed by Mia as part of the recent ‘Design A Flag’ competition which was open to all the club’s juvenile girl players to celebrate the fun and pride they have playing Ladies Football and Camogie.  Mia’s winning design was chosen from over 30 super entries which was then made into a full-sized flag to fly outside the club.  Mia was joined by mum Adrienne, dad Paddy and brother Daire and an extended O’Connell family ‘bubble’ who watched on and cheered as she raised the flag outside the club for the first time, where we hope it will continue to fly for many years to come celebrating Ballyboden St Endas Ladies Football and Camogie.  Mia was also presented with a prize of €100 by our Juvenile Ladies Chairman Damian Coleman.

Well done to Mia, and thanks again to all the girls who entered the competition!!  #MnáBuadáinAbú!!
