On a Saturday night in December, recognition was belatedly given to the fantastic achievements of the Ballyboden Ladies Football Division 1 Minor teams of the last 3 years.

An event was held in the club hall where the Minor teams were presented with their medals, Championships Winners of 2021, 2022 & 2023and League Winners of 2021 & 2022.

Julie Vaughan receiving a presentation on behalf of the club for her achievement in winning an All-Ireland Senior Football medal with Dublin Ladies in 2023. Presenting her with the award was her sister Rachel (who was a member of the 2023 winning Championship Minor A team)

Emma Moran and her Dad Paul, and Karrie Rudden with her Dad Kieran and sister Willow, received a presentation from the club to mark their achievement in winning the Under 16 All Ireland for Dublin in 2022.

Goalkeeper Lauren Heavey was the sole player who achieved the unique distinction of winning all 3 Minor A Championship medals. She was presented with a special award from her sister Rachel who also collected her winning medal for 2023.

And not forgetting the good olde Das (and mentors). Brian Deignan, Kieran Rudden and Ronan Feely received presentations from their respective daughters, Megan, Alice and Shauna for their involvement in the management of the teams for all 3 years.

After the individual medal presentations, a full group photo was taken with nearly all of the 45 girls present to capture this magnificent accomplishment.

Congratulations and well done to all concerned, to all the players and Management on such a wonderful achievement.

Many thanks to Miriam Doyle for the photos. For more, see here
