Having successfully completed One Good Club’s Step 3 ‘Take Notice’ in the 5 Steps to Mental Wellbeing’  we now move on to Step 4, Keep Learning. Learning opens us up to new ideas and keeps us curious and engaged. It gives up a sense of accomplishment which helps boast our confidence. So why not try something new, rediscover something old. Challenge yourselves!

We wonder how many actually know the words to our National Anthem! We challenge members to finally learn and sing out all the words. For our future stars representing club or county or our supporters watching on. Be match ready to belt out Amhrán na Bhfiann when our time comes (hopefully soon) be it on the pitch or in the stands. We also introduced some Camogie and Football frásaí Gaeilge to learn in advance of returning to play. Our Minor Ladies rose to the challenge of practicing cúpla focal. Maith sibh cailílí. We are continuing to learn all about Jigsaw, The Youth Mental Health Charity. This fortnight, we are exploring the Wellbeing Apps they recommend.
After a lot of research and evidence, Jigsaw have identified apps that are safe to use and that may be helpful to young people in managing their Mental Health and Wellbeing.
