The Ballyboden Senior A Camogie team got their second win of the campaign in Pairc Ui Mhurchu on Tuesday evening.
Playing with the aid of a strong breeze the team got off to a quick start racking up a number of points in quick succession. Na Fianna hit back with a goal, however, Boden continued to pick off their scores and hit the net three times before half time to lead 3-10 to 1-02 at the break.
Na Fianna had the wind behind them in the second half and scored a quick goal on resumption. Nonetheless, Boden continued as they did in the first half by defending well and taking some impressive scores despite the conditions.
Overall Boden ran out strong winners and did put together some good phases of play, interspersed with high catching and slick passing leading to scores. Holding Na Fianna to a scoreline of 1-02 against the wind in the second half was very impressive.
