Our Senior A footballers ended the night somewhat disappointed and frustrated having to settle for a draw, despite being 6 points up early on in the second half.
Our Ladies hosted neighbours Thomas Davis in Pairc Uí Mhúrchú last Wednesday evening in their first match of the season.
In fairness to the Tallaght girls, they never gave up and full credit is due to them in sharing the spoils.
Natalia Hyland was in outstanding form scoring 2 wonderful goals and being pinpoint accurate from frees. Alanna McGarry and Aoife Gogan were the other ‘Boden goal scorers in a game that swung from end to end at a frantic pace from start to finish.
If this is the standard of play we can expect at this level then we’re in for a wonderful feast of ladies football for the coming season.
