It was a full return to action for our U10 Girls footballers as our 3 team group travelled to Somerton Park to take on Castleknock on Saturday.

Football training has been going very well for the U10 girls with strong attendances at the weekly St Enda’s Park sessions.  The girls have stepped up in their skills and game sense training since the return after the summer break, and this was in clear evidence on Saturday as 3 teams made the journey to Castleknock GAA’s grounds at Somerton.

As expected, this was a tough challenge, as both the Boden and Castleknock girls set about their task.  These were really good competitive entertaining matches between 2 well-drilled teams.  Watching parents and coaches were treated to performances of skill, great passing and movement and sheer determination on both sides.

Well done to all the girls on 6 great games.
