Congratulations to our U21 footballers who beat Kilmacud Crokes by 2-09 to 1-07 to reach the Championship final today in front of a large crowd in Pairc Ui Mhurchu. After a nervous start the team rallied towards the end of the first half before going in a goal down 0-06 to 1-06. The second half saw the lads deliver a performance full of guts, determination and skill which Crokes had no answer to, running out deserved winners 2-09 to 1-07.
