This is the last game of the year for the Adult Hurling Section. Our Under 21 team, after fine victories over Na Fianna (2 17 to 1 15) and St. Jude’s (6 11 to 2 18) must now go Páirc Naomh Uinsíonn this Saturday afternoon in what promises to be a great occasion against North-side rivals, St. Vincents.
Vincent’s beat St. Oliver Plunkett’s (2 12 to 0 12) in first round before overcoming Ballinteer St. John’s (4 17 to 0 06) in the semi-final.
As luck would have it, we now have to go the Lion’s Den if we want to add to the 4 previous Under 21 titles which we last won in 2011. Vincent’s last won the title in 1994 so they wont lack desire. We need a huge support to match the home support so if at all possible please make the trip to Marino. Let’s hope the Boden boys can finish the year on a high. Go neirí an t-ádh libh.
