In a pulsating Minor A Championship final Boden were denied victory by a late Whitehall Colmcilles goal yesterday in Parnell Park. The team performed heroically and were leading by 2 points coming the last minute when a wonder strike hit the net to break Boden hearts. It was a terrific game played in great spirit which ebbed and flowed in front of a large crowd. A tough defeat to take for the team and Mentors but these lads will be stronger for it as a result.
