We couldn’t let this chance go without talking to each of the girls and asking them some questions about themselves and their involvement with Boden

Why I chose to play Gaelic football :- I like the game and it helps me to get rid of my excess energy and helps me to relax!
Most enjoyable aspect of playing for Boden :- I like spending time with my team mates and the coaches are also very good and very supportive of us
Most memorable moment in Boden jersey :- Stepping onto the pitch in Croke Park for the Coman to Croker games on the 8th of August this year
Ambitions for my Gaelic football “career”!:- Hopefully to keep playing and maybe make the senior team!!!
Why would I recommend ladies Gaelic football to my friends :- It is to a great way to get to know people and it helps you to grow and develop life skills like being a good team player and learning that you have to be able to lose as well as win

Words of wisdom/ favourite quote :- I have recently started in First year in St. Colmcille’s Community School and I noticed a saying on the wall there that I think is very relevant as follows:- “it is not the falls that make you stronger but the times you get back up”

Why I chose to play Gaelic football : At the beginning I started because my friends were playing but then realised how much fun playing for Boden is.
Most enjoyable aspect of playing for Boden: The club is very friendly and inclusive everyone and it doesn’t matter what team your on you are made feel important
Most memorable moment in Boden jersey: Making it to the final of the shield in 2015 and scoring a goal.
Ambitions for my Gaelic football “career”!: To play and be a Ballyboden member for many more years
